About CTV
Collegian Television is CSU's student-run TV station and part of the Rocky Mountain Student Media Corporation.
"To give students a real newsroom to learn in, and to give CSU and Fort Collins a station made by the people who live here."
CTV produces news, sports, talk, and entertainment programming entirely through student work: reporting, shooting, editing, directing, and hosting. It's a working TV station, not a classroom simulation: broadcasts go out live to cable and the CSU community every week during the school year.
Beyond the live show, CTV crews cover Ram Athletics with pre-, mid-, and post-game reports, run recurring segments like CTV Cooks, and produce Ram Talk conversations on the issues students actually care about.
Plans what airs on CTV and keeps the Tuesday through Thursday lineup on schedule.
Runs the station day to day, from crew scheduling to making sure every broadcast goes out.
